Homosexuality is caused by insecurity in oneself

Or some people just have different sexual inclinations than you do? It seems very reductionist to boil down someone’s attraction to some one root cause like insecurity; people are a lot more complex than that. Not to overgeneralize, but speak to someone who’s gay and you’ll probably find that many of them are secure in their identities when in welcoming environments. They express themselves in whatever fashion they choose, even if the rest of us straight people may be slightly irritated from time to time with the manner of their expressions. Whatever the case may be, the last thing I’d ever characterize a gay person as would be insecure.
